Which is better, air fryer paper or aluminum foil?

The air fryer paper is usually made of heat-resistant paper materials and has the following advantages:

Easy to clean: air fryer paper can effectively prevent food from sticking to the air fryer, reducing the trouble of cleaning.

Healthy and Environment Friendly: Most air fryer papers are made of food-grade materials and have passed strict safety tests, free from harmful chemicals. They are also biodegradable, which means they have a smaller impact on the environment.

Good Air Circulation: The design of the paper allows for good air circulation, ensuring even heating of the food and maintaining a crispy texture.

Various Sizes and Shapes: There are various sizes and shapes of paper available on the market, making it easy to match them with different models of air fryers.

However, paper baking trays also have disadvantages:

Poor durability: It may become fragile under high temperatures and oils, especially during cooking when it may break.

Not suitable for high-fat foods: For foods with high amounts of fat, paper liners may not be able to completely prevent oil from leaking out, causing the interior of the air fryer to become greasy.

Aluminum foil (tinfoil) is widely used due to its high heat resistance and good heat conductivity:

High-Temperature Resistant: Aluminum foil can withstand very high temperatures without deforming, making it suitable for long-term high-temperature cooking in an air fryer.

Excellent Barrier: It can effectively prevent oil and liquid from leaking, keeping the interior of the air fryer clean.

Multifunctional: Aluminum foil is not only suitable for laying in the air fryer , but also for wrapping food, making it suitable for food that needs to be insulated or evenly heated.

Strong Shaping Ability: It can be shaped into any desired shape, making it suitable for food and air fryer accessories of different shapes.

However, aluminum foil also has disadvantages:

Poor air permeability: When using it, please pay attention not to cover the food completely, otherwise it will affect the air circulation and lead to uneven cooking.

Possible release of harmful substances: In very rare cases, prolonged high-temperature use of aluminum foil may result in the release of aluminum elements, which are considered to be a concern in some health studies.

Not environmentally friendly: Aluminum foil is not easily biodegradable, and it has a greater impact on the environment.
