Glassine paper

Definition
Glassine paper is a smooth, translucent paper made from a manufacturing process called supercalendering. The paper pulp is beaten to break down the fibers. After pressing and drying, the paper web is passed through a stack of hard pressure rollers. It is a traditional interleaving material, high-density, smooth surface, decent translucent,acid-free, moisture-proof and greaseproof. There is a wide range of basis weights available, applicated in food and medicine industries.

Application
Fulton Glassine Paper is ideally used for strip packing of pharmaceutical tablets, and sachets for the packing of sugar, salt, pepper, tea, etc. We offer color printed as well as plain glassine paper reels that are ideally suited for automatic packing machines. Also used for cake cup making, Fatty food wrapping, Baking liner, gift wrapping ,etc.

Regular size and package: 30x30cm; 30x40cm; 36 x 36cm; 38 x 50cm; custom size 500sheets packed by kraft paper; 4-8 packs in corrugated carton
